Just look at this prickly boi. Cactus along the trail up Superstition Mountain. 🌵
Desert flower 🌼 pictures from hiking Superstition Mountain. Blown away by the IQ of the Fuji X100F’s APS-C sensor & lens—right up there with my old Pentax K1’s FF sensor, even! Unsure about the DR, however, since I’ve gone to shooting almost exclusively JPEGs. Love this camera! 📷
Picture of a flower I snapped while hiking Superstition Mountain. This was before I realized I had the digital ND filter on the FujiX100F turned on. —Was so frustrated with slow shutter speeds mid-day! 🌼
🌵 Cactus pics. from my hike up Superstition Mountain.
Pictures of the sunset & sky one evening in Mesa, AZ. Very beautiful colors! Gf & I walked around the neighborhood soaking it all in until it finally got dark.
A pretty tree with small flowers outside the restaurant we went to for dinner.
Accidental exposure that came out somewhat interesting? Long exposure…the digital ND filter was left on from earlier in the day.
Prickly things. I love cactus…but maybe it’s just because we don’t have any back home—radically different ecosystem & geography. Had a great hike with my gf! Feet’re blistered from totally inappropriate footwear, but I throughly enjoyed our hours among nature.
I adore the JPEGs the Fuji X100F produces—I don’t even bother with RAW files anymore (though, I save both for archival purposes). These were all taken during a hike up Usery Mountain near Phoenix.
Pictures from my flights from Charlotte to Phoenix.
Various historical aircraft hanging from the hangar ceiling. WWI & WWII fighters, plus a glider!
